About Me — Pixel Sloth
Hi! I’m Pixel Sloth, and I love bringing characters to life. Most of my art focuses on cartoon characters, from fan art of shows I grew up loving to my own original creations. Every piece is about capturing emotion, nostalgia, or a story that people can connect with — even if it’s just a single character on a blank background.
I started drawing seriously around age 15, inspired by late ’90s cartoons like Hannah-Barbera classics and Butch Hartman’s work. Art has always been part of me, but it’s only in the past year that I’ve fully committed and started thinking of it as more than a hobby.
When I create, I usually start with a quote or feeling that resonates, find a scene or idea that matches it, and then rough sketch, ink, and color it. Composition, line work, and color tones are everything to me — if something feels off, the piece doesn’t feel right.
I work digitally with my XP-Pen 16 Pro and Clip Studio Paint, but I also love hand-drawn art with pencils and ink. My hope is that my art makes people smile, tear up, or just pause and feel something real.
